Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) FC Ouagadougou National's Jedrzej Kiszkiel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when William Westelinx came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Ouagadougou National were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sergen Şahbender took the corner. The corner led FC Ouagadougou National's Sergen Şahbender to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rene Vereijt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute of the match FC Ouagadougou National got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergen Şahbender ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Jedrzej Kiszkiel got a free kick in the 17th minute. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 24th minute of the match. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jedrzej Kiszkiel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jedrzej Kiszkiel sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. William Westelinx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Yavaş came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Kiszkiel in the 61st minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when William Westelinx came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Baba R. Hansen made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx. But to his dismay, William Westelinx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Dani Rojas replaced Jedrzej Kiszkiel. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. 91 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Vereijt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dani Rojas's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Vereijt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. In the 99th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rene Vereijt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Ouagadougou National.
