Olgierd Petrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Bartosz Milan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dante Lacasa, passed just outside the right post. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Leoz in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FURIOZA's Boleslaw Blochowiak. 21 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Kilar. 29 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olgierd Petrasz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wieslaw Kilar got free with Dante Lacasa in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FURIOZA's attentive Boleslaw Blochowiak managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Olgierd Petrasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to FURIOZA getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Moreno Torricelli hit a great ball. The supporters of FURIOZA booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Wieslaw Kilar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Lukasz Kaczorowski hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A collision led to FURIOZA getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lukasz Kaczorowski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play forced FURIOZA's goalkeeper Olgierd Petrasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olgierd Petrasz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Olgierd Petrasz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FURIOZA made a substitution. Emanuel de Andrade replaced Adolfo Calisto. 78 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Milan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Olgierd Petrasz in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The FURIOZA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
