Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Manole Frunză had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manole Frunză was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Frunză in the 93rd minute of play. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Rovine Craiova from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Rovine Craiova players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
