Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) USA's Cassius Byrne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. USA's Cassius Byrne got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, Gavião Kyikatejê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colin Booth to maneuver through the defense. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Monty Rogers sped through Gavião Kyikatejê's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sitthachat Jampeehom. The supporters of USA booed when Gavião Kyikatejê was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colin Booth didn't get a good kick on the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Bittencourt in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Zuasnabar. Davie McWhirter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Davie McWhirter tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, USA's Edward Mcdonald got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 37thth minute of the game João Vítor Bittencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Oriol. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Bittencourt in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miroslaw Dobilas who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Miroslaw Dobilas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Gavião Kyikatejê's João Vítor Bittencourt in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Zuasnabar in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Vítor Bittencourt in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. After 61 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Maksymilian Kolba. 62 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Davie McWhirter came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miroslaw Dobilas was slow to take the kick. During this time Gavião Kyikatejê's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gavião Kyikatejê's Davie McWhirter to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sitthachat Jampeehom was a little too slow when Monty Rogers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-2. João Vítor Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Edward Mcdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Sitthachat Jampeehom made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodney Lindov in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. In the 83rd minute Gavião Kyikatejê were awarded a corner. Miroslaw Dobilas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Davie McWhirter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. Miguel Zuasnabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Zuasnabar in the 91st minute of play. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davie McWhirter, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. USA played a much better game than Gavião Kyikatejê and deserved their victory. The Gavião Kyikatejê players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
