Ben Zynek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 7th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ben Zynek could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. Rômulo Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Hudson came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Zynek got free with Rolando Noboa in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 20th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 28th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rômulo Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Hudson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rômulo Neiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. If Jaime Carro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 42 in the game by Ben Zynek from a close distance when the talented Rolando Noboa managed to make a qualified save. Peru's players were relieved. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Ignacy Pluciennik made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. A collision led to Mukifus FSCMZ getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Cássio Vidal hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Ben Zynek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mukifus FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rômulo Neiva made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. After 67 minutes of play, Mukifus FSCMZ's Jaime Carro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mukifus FSCMZ the free kick. Mukifus FSCMZ made a substitution. Filipe Freire replaced Jaime Carro. Julian Murillo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Luz Tejedor scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rômulo Neiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 88th minute, Peru's Anthony Alvarado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anthony Alvarado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Peru protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anthony Alvarado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rolando Noboa had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Filipe Freire's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Antonio Tenorio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rômulo Neiva. Antonio Tenorio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
