A sloppy throw-in by Salvador Gisbert in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Napoleón 2018's Jimeno Otsoko. Napoleón 2018 were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eustacio Lauaxeta took the corner. After 27 minutes, Ernesto Aureo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Napoleón 2018 and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvio Urbes made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Patricio Costa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Daniel Oidor, passed just outside the right post. 55 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Napoleón 2018's Daniel Oidor. Daniel Oidor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Napoleón 2018's Eustacio Lauaxeta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 66th minute Silvio Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes, Jimeno Otsoko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Napoleón 2018 and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Oidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Daniel Oidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Napoleón 2018 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
