With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Sebastián Saja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Kisielka went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sebastián Saja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Jan Kisielka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Jan Kisielka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jan Kisielka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Sebastián Saja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of the match. In the 31st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Saja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of A.C ALDO BONZI booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Kisielkas short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sebastián Saja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th match minute, A.C ALDO BONZI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Atauri to maneuver through the defense. The A.C ALDO BONZI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Kisielka in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sebastián Saja could save by the left post. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Kisielka in the 58th minute of the match. Jan Kisielka struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C ALDO BONZI. After 64 played minutes A.C ALDO BONZI got a freekick which was hit by Pascoal Saraiva. Daniel Zorita, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play forced A.C ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Sebastián Saja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Kisielka in the 76th minute of the match. A.C ALDO BONZI's Jan Kisielka got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Jan Kisielka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
