The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's Üzeyir İzgi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's Türker Türkoğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Samim Acartürk notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Türker Türkoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, César Xavier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 26th match minute, Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Odeen to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Üzeyir İzgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 33rd minute of play forced Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's goalkeeper Üzeyir İzgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Xavier got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Türker Türkoğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro, 5-0. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by César Xavier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Üzeyir İzgi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Xavier in the 61st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC's Cai Shi Jian to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türker Türkoğlu in the 66th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when César Xavier came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César Xavier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Yahya Kemal Başdaş hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ａ Ｙ Ｉ Ｎ Ｔ Ａ Ｐ FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
