Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Poppy FC's Sertel Adıvar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of play. 3 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sertel Adıvar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertel Adıvar having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Damian Brack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 minutes of play, Poppy FC's Qu Ling Lin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sertel Adıvar having to make a save. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Qu Ling Lin notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Qu Ling Lin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patrik Flinck scored 4-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qu Ling Lin in the 45th minute of the match. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qu Ling Lin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sertel Adıvar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Poppy FC's Steevy Cheret got a free kick in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qu Ling Lin in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute Qu Ling Lin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sertel Adıvar stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Illescas came free in front of goal and shot 4-2 to the left of him in the 66 minute. Bedir Şirvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qu Ling Lin in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute of play forced Poppy FC's goalkeeper Sertel Adıvar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Qu Ling Lin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Patrik Flinck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrik Flinck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. 92 minutes into the match, Poppy FC's goalkeeper Sertel Adıvar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. The corner led to Venezuela's Camilo Gaos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sertel Adıvar saved Poppy FC from getting behind. Poppy FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
