In the 6th minute, Filomeno Kauldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Urko FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Kauldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Antonio Arnas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Cruz in the 16th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Cruz got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Antonio Arnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Arnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Binjamin Van Campenhout kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Sebastián Torrico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Urko FC made a substitution. Arrosko Lechem replaced Antonio Arnas. Santino Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Alonso in the 65th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
