The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteve Iratxo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 38 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kekambas FC's Esteve Iratxo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Dimo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Alonzo Pirro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Dimo in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Enaut in the 65th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefano Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Dimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Iratxo having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Alonzo Pirro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alonzo Pirro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kekambas FC.
