Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabien Cantin started the match with the kick off. The throw-in from Daryl Douville in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Francisco Carballar. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabien Cantin in the 6th minute of the match. Daryl Douville hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Casaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Rinaldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Minaud got free with Thiago Pliego in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Dave Rinaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stéphane Gaudy. 18 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stéphane Gaudy. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Stéphane Gaudy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Rinaldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stéphane Gaudy in the 29th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Elegance Dijon got a freekick which was hit by Bruce Pawlak. 32 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Dave Rinaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Christian Minaud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Christian Minaud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dave Rinaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stéphane Gaudy in the 39th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Cantin in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th play minute Mariano Lacasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dave Rinaldi. 1-1. 62 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dave Rinaldi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Rinaldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Rinaldi made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. When Thierry Agnel fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elegance Dijon's protests and gave Thierry Agnel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Elegance Dijon getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Thierry Agnel hit a great ball. Daryl Douville got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 77 played minutes Elegance Dijon got a freekick which was hit by Daryl Douville. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Dave Rinaldi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Xavier Figueroa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Elegance Dijon's Gilles Baur quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Rinaldi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
