Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Celso Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastián Torrico in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Milagros Fraga took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastián Torrico. Sebastián Torrico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play forced Urko FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sebastián Torrico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Urko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binjamin Van Campenhout to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Urko FC defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastián Torrico. The Urko FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastián Torrico should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Cruz in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Celso Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Urko FC's Denis Alonso was substituted for Celso Cruz. Urko FC's Aquiles Arnas was substituted for Cordaro Domenech. A sloppy throw-in by Jesus Paskal in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Milagros Fraga. In the 60th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Urko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Alonso to maneuver through the defense. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes Urko FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Joaquin Prats heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 73 minutes into the match, Urko FC's Denis Alonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Arnas in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when Urko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Kauldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. With a little luck, Urko FC's Sebastián Torrico got control of the ball when Antonio Tenorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Sebastián Torrico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
