Du Yuan Chao might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Du Yuan Chao ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Day was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Du Yuan Chao showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Du Yuan Chao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Du Yuan Chao tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match LVCVS AVGVSTI got a corner. Rosario Escarza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 51st minute of the match. Rosario Escarza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 57th minute. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Chano's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Rosario Escarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 64th minute of play. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Zef Zoff was substituted for Ronny Skytt. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. In the 73rd minute of the match USA got a corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Rosario Escarza in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute of the match, Sam Campbell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rosario Escarza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Khalid Parry scored 2-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosario Escarza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
