Thanks to some nice moves Denis Rivas could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. In the 46th minute, Oktay Eğriöz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
