In the 6th minute of the match, Ronnie Odell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luz Tejedor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zachariasz Dudkowski having to make a save. After 11 played minutes CRUZ DEL SUR got a freekick which was hit by Fan Yong Zhan. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Estefan in the 14th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zachariasz Dudkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zachariasz Dudkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. Augusto Estefan kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Zachariasz Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CRUZ DEL SUR's Zachariasz Dudkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 32nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Arturo Vidal in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 36th minute of the game Arturo Vidal made a throw-in which Augusto Estefan played forward. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Augusto Estefan made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Estefan in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Zachariasz Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Fraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artaç Yavuzalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Pippin Aguilera came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th match minute, CRUZ DEL SUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bautista Marcó to maneuver through the defense. The Peru players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented CRUZ DEL SUR from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
