Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adan Otsoko kicked off to start the match. If Celedonio Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Adan Otsoko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adan Otsoko in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paolo Indar was slow to take the kick. During this time Almeyra F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Adan Otsoko was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 28th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Celedonio Xabat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Xabat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Celedonio Xabat's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Xabat helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristo Colas. Cristo Colas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Teo Chano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Cristo Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Otsoko in the 54th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Adan Otsoko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Almeyra F.C.'s Cristo Colas got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Teo Chano got a free kick in the 69th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cristo Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Cristo Colas in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Adan Otsoko made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 94 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
