Gaspar Odol might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Odol ran back to his position shaking his head. Tobias Reuters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Charmander City's Jairo Gaufred quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Berganza, made in the 26th minute of the game. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charmander City made a substitution. Golo Dolar replaced Gaspar Odol. After 36 minutes, Benigno Qwinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charmander City and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Charmander City getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Golo Dolar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Golo Dolar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th match minute, Charmander City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Velasco to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Reuters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Reuters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Tobias Reuters made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Reuters narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Dolar came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Rafael Gallo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charmander City's Tobias Reuters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Reuters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Cristobal Jurgi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristobal Jurgi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.
