Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Rey hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Swoboda having to interfere. Mexico played a much better game than FC Szczucin and deserved their victory. The FC Szczucin players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
