Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benito Naldo started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Emmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ás Ronaldo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Naldo in the 20th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Benito Naldo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Emmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Emmanuel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. Benito Naldo had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Madison's Henri Ladva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Primitivo Andino, made in the 46th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Madison's Ege Træet got a free kick in the 50th minute. 51 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ernesto Emmanuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Naldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Emmanuel was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Madison's Juan Fernando Quintero was substituted for Cristobal Chumo. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Naldo in the 66th minute of play. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ás Ronaldo went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Ernesto Emmanuel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernesto Emmanuel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Madison's Benito Naldo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Madison was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ege Træet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Naldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Mete Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Madison support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
