Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Gonzales in the 12th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Cavallino Rampante II were awarded a corner. Candido Garin went to the cornerflag to take it. Candido Garin made a great header on Cavallino Rampante II's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Fe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th play minute Candido Garin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Vera. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cavallino Rampante II's Cleto Polentzi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Agustín Saelices put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ernesto Fe. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Andino in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Fe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivo Ojas short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Ivo Oja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Oja, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ernesto Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play. Daniel Zorita in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ernesto Fe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ernesto Fe made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. Cavallino Rampante II's Fabian Jarosiewicz was substituted for Candido Garin. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Cavallino Rampante II's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 79thth minute of the game Haroldo Caradaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Antonio Arias suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Haroldo Caradaro charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Caradaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's Max Alvarado was substituted for Antonio Arias. Haroldo Caradaro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Caradaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Fe made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cavallino Rampante II's Joaquin Matai tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
