Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Radomil Mietus started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Santino Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Firman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Pastor Firman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 12th minute of play. Qu Xuan Yang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Axel Montenegro scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Firman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Radomil Mietus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Radomil Mietus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 2-2. 30 minutes into the match, Radomil Mietus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radomil Mietus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Mietus in the 34th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Ludomir Witkowski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Pascual Carballar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Mietus in the 42nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santino Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santino Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santino Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Club Sportivo Quilmes were awarded a corner. Waldemar Przybylo went to the cornerflag to take it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Waldemar Przybylo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportivo Quilmes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Przybylo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Verón came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Verón went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Verón in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Mietus in the 65th minute of play. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Samuel Medero was substituted for Emanuel Ladio. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Club Sportivo Quilmes's David Oihan was substituted for Radomil Mietus. 69 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when David Oihan came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Verón in the 70th minute of play. Club Sportivo Quilmes's David Oihan managed to work through Colombia's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. David Oihan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Pastor Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 78th minute of play. Sebastian Verón scored 6-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Qu Xuan Yang took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Sebastian Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Verón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Sportivo Quilmes had played much better football throughout.
