In the 22nd minute Franco Bosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Hita kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Valentin Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Bosch in the 27th minute of play. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Igor Milko got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Milko got free with Ermengol Baena in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The shot was a little too simple and Valentin Bernal could save by the left post. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cordario Bazarra was slow to take the kick. During this time ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cordario Bazarra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valentin Bernal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rocio Rusoto hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Cayetano Monico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Ermengol Baena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Monico in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
