Ermengol Baena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Franco Bosch made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmond Verdun was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Victorino Sandalio made a precise shot to the right of Ermengol Baena. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Franco Boschs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Edmond Verdun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun got control of the ball when Nicollao Narbona tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Errecaborda AFC's Victorino Sandalio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermengol Baena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ermengol Baena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 44 minutes of play, Errecaborda AFC's Isidro Gines made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermengol Baena was left in no man's land by his defense there!

51 minutes into the game, Victorino Sandalio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ermengol Baena. Victorino Sandalio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Franco Bosch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Cordario Bazarra went to the cornerflag to take it. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Cordario Bazarra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmond Verdun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Franco Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermengol Baena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Ermengol Baena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gines in the 64th minute of play. Isidro Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ermengol Baena made a huge save. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Bosch, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ermengol Baena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Jerardo in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gines came free, but Ermengol Baena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Isidro Gines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermengol Baena was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Mauro Rameriz took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermengol Baena. Ermengol Baena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Rogelio Jakes replaced Aírton Urbano. In the 93rd minute Prospero Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermengol Baena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Errecaborda AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
