The Tirant lo Blanch fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Tirant lo Blanch's Leonard Treppa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Călin Prunaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Isbășoiu in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Treppa came free, but Călin Prunaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Agulescu in the 28th minute of play. Kamal Pahlevi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristi Maniu. 35 minutes into the match, Leonard Treppa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC MCM's Călin Prunaru. Călin Prunaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kamal Pahlevi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cătălin Agulescu in the 38th minute of the match. Maxim Frumuzache lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Leonard Treppa made the kick off in the second half. Leonard Treppa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Călin Prunaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC MCM's Andrei Murărașu was substituted for Daniel Ciolofan. FC MCM's Ion Panduru was substituted for Viktor Axelsson. Kamal Pahlevi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Isbășoiu in the 61st minute of the match. Călin Prunaru made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Leonard Treppa sent off a good shot on target. When Carmen Paniagua came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Tirant lo Blanch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmen Paniagua couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Carmen Paniagua recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Călin Prunaru. Carmen Paniagua showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Kamal Pahlevi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Tirant lo Blanch supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tirant lo Blanch would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
