The referee ignored Los Golosos's protests and gave Doğan Pekin a yellow card for diving instead. Cătălin Agulescu took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Vilalobos. Silvestre Vilalobos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Los Golosos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Laureano Felipo hit a great ball. Los Golosos's Silvestre Vilalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 12th minute of play. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Orain, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute Cătălin Agulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Vilalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC MCM's Călin Prunaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC MCM from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Los Golosos's Nicolas Estevez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Călin Prunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Los Golosos were awarded a corner. Serafin Leguizamón went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27thth minute of the game Laureano Felipo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MCM's Călin Prunaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Los Golosos's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Agulescu came free, but Silvestre Vilalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Vilalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cătălin Agulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC MCM getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dacian Mustăcilă hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Pau Novo. Nicolas Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Prunaru having to interfere. If Viktor Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Estevez made a kick off. Adrian Isbășoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Silvestre Vilalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC MCM made a substitution. Ion Panduru replaced Viktor Axelsson. The supporters of FC MCM booed when Los Golosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meng Shi Peng didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC MCM made a substitution. Vali Cârnu replaced Cătălin Agulescu. After 64 minutes, Vali Cârnu made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Los Golosos's Silvestre Vilalobos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Osvaldo Ubarna hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Los Golosos's goalkeeper Silvestre Vilalobos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Isbășoiu. Los Golosos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Vali Cârnu scored to the left of an out of position Silvestre Vilalobos, making the score, 0-3. The supporters of Los Golosos booed when FC MCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pau Novo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Golosos's Adrian Transito was substituted for Laureano Felipo. In the 74th minute, Pau Novo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Transito kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. FC MCM's attentive Pau Novo managed to snatch the ball when Osvaldo Ubarna made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Adrian Isbășoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MCM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 85 minutes into the game, FC MCM's Adrian Isbășoiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Vilalobos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Los Golosos's zone, Vali Cârnu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Vilalobos came out of the goal and Vali Cârnu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvestre Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Isbășoiu got free with Silvestre Vilalobos in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC MCM played a much better game than Los Golosos and deserved their victory. The Los Golosos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
