With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Arizmendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Olaf Gall came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Yalapa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Gall couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Bican Şeref shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri İhtiyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Yalapa got a freekick which was hit by Tarmo Helm. With a little luck, Moorefield AFC's Teodoro Arizmendi got control of the ball when Fermin Dolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Moorefield AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yalapa.
