Remo Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, João Carlos Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul and the 卡納里尼奧 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Gaspar. Vítor da Costa struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 卡納里尼奧 FC. The wind increased when Eliseu Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. Gianluigi Donnarumma came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by 卡納里尼奧 FC's Elias Damasceno. But to his dismay, Elias Damasceno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 55th minute Elias Damasceno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Gianluigi Donnarumma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Damasceno went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Vítor Guimarães having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseu Alagoano in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Donnarumma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Carlos Gaspar got free with João Vítor Guimarães in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leopoldo Sanches in the 88th minute. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but João Vítor Guimarães in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
