Gianluigi Donnarumma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 29th minute of the match Mark Isaksson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gianluigi Donnarumma skillfully saved the ball. Caxias do Sul's Gianluigi Donnarumma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Häll in the 64th minute of play.
