Adam Rednic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lauro Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Paranaense came free, but Horea Hurmuzache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Basarab Bâlea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sever Colin kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Natanael Pinheiro didn't quite understand what happened when in the 22 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Emanuel Ardeleanu hit a great ball. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when CE LAJEADENSE RS's Glauco Paranaense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Remus Elisei kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horea Hurmuzache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Paranaense in the 40th minute of the match. Horea Hurmuzache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 43 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Bobocea. 0-2 became the score in the 45th minute when Glauco Paranaense elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glauco Paranaense made a kick off. In the 53rd minute CE LAJEADENSE RS were awarded a corner. Caio Ramos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caio Ramos to fire away a dangerous shot which Horea Hurmuzache despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Horea Hurmuzache stood somewhat misplaced when Glauco Paranaense came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 53 minute. In the 58th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Zafiu to maneuver through the defense. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caio Ramos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Horea Hurmuzache but with some difficulty. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save DINAMO from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glauco Paranaense got free with Horea Hurmuzache in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Glauco Paranaense came free and shot a quick shot against goal 74 minutes in the game, fortunately Horea Hurmuzache had problems saving as it came toward the left post. CE LAJEADENSE RS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Caio Ramos in the 75th minute. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caio Ramos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Horea Hurmuzache in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Glauco Paranaenses short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Horea Hurmuzache to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Caio Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horea Hurmuzache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Guilherme Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caio Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horea Hurmuzache was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliézer Ramos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 88 minute of play. In the 95th minute, Glauco Paranaense fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CE LAJEADENSE RS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
