Charles Sarmento came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Mamutes EC's David Lima. But to his dismay, David Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marcinho Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Alves in the 37th minute of the match. Marcinho Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mamutes EC's Marcinho Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Alves in the 42nd minute of play.
