Válbson Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Gustavo Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A. Francana. If Válbson Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Adelino Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Trigo was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 29 minutes SinháCity FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serginho Alagoano who took care of the corner kick. João Adolfo Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Adelino Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Telmo Trigo having to make a save. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Adolfo Leite to make the kick off. Gustavo Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Adolfo Leite's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Gustavo Barral was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and João Adolfo Leite capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Adolfo Leite really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 64th minute, A.A. Francana's Armandinho Vergílio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 66 minutes into the game, Fellipe dos Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SinháCity FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A. Francana the free kick. Fellipe dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Telmo Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Vale in the 69th minute of play. Telmo Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Vale in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Vale in the 78th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Telmo Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Barral came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by A.A. Francana's João Adolfo Leite. But to his dismay, João Adolfo Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When Adelino Vale came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the SinháCity FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Vale couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, SinháCity FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. João Adolfo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gustavo Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
