After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mané Garrincha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 93rd match minute, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Mané Garrincha got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Villaverde Celeste Clube.
