In the 11th minute, Victor da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinho Moura acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Frank Sten. 13 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Torres came free, but Alfredo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AS Pikachuzim booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mané Garrincha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Claudinho Moura made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Mané Garrincha notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AS Pikachuzim's Claudinho Moura. Claudinho Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Bittencourt in the 29th minute of play forced Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Alfredo Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, AS Pikachuzim's Claudinho Moura got control of the ball when Luiz Netto tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Aílton Carneiro hit a great ball. Giuliano David hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Victor da Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor da Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Victor da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mané Garrincha came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claudinho Moura could save by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dadá Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Alfredo Linares got control of the ball when Dadá Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sten came free, but Claudinho Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dadá Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dadá Torres took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Linares. Alfredo Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, AS Pikachuzim's Tony Castro got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Luiz Netto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudinho Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villaverde Celeste Clube reached it. After a rather tough play, AS Pikachuzim's Dadá Torres got a free kick in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Berger in the 93rd minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Claudinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Moura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuliano David went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Villaverde Celeste Clube had won after a very even match.
