The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Frank Sten sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. 0-2 became the score in the 11th minute when Frank Sten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sever Colin hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Frank Sten didn't quite understand what happened when in the 18 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Horea Hurmuzache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sten's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ardeleanu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sten in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horea Hurmuzache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Elisei to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Frank Sten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horea Hurmuzache was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sten came free, but Horea Hurmuzache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horea Hurmuzache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sten in the 43rd minute of the match. Horea Hurmuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sten in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sten was the one to do the kick off. Frank Sten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. When Frank Sten in the 54th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Horea Hurmuzache kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 58 minutes into the match, Frank Sten notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache. Horea Hurmuzache was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horea Hurmuzache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sten, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache got control of the ball when Mané Garrincha tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Villaverde Celeste Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DINAMO.
