Fokke Bergman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 17 minutes, Fiori Félix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castanheiro SC and the Winthont FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 18 minutes, Filip Smit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winthont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Smit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fokke Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Eger in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Filip Smit hit a great ball. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Júnior Alagoano hit a great ball. If João Vítor Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Cearense. In the 35th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Senna to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Filip Smit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winthont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Smit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Fiori Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fokke Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Marcelo Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castanheiro SC and the Winthont FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Winthont FC's Sipke Oosting got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fokke Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Júnior Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokke Bergman having to interfere. In the 61st minute Telmo da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When João Vítor Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castanheiro SC's protests and gave João Vítor Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. João Vítor Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fokke Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Bender was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Winthont FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! 82 minutes into the game, Roelof Pietersma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winthont FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castanheiro SC the free kick. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roelof Pietersma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júnior Alagoano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Fokke Bergman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 86th match minute, Winthont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Floris Talsma to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Pinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fokke Bergman. That made the score 0-2 in the 90 minute of play. João Vítor Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júnior Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
