The supporters of Winthont FC booed when SinháCity FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Winthont FC's Sipke Oosting made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Floris Talsma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gustavo Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sipke Oosting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roelof Pietersma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Barral having to interfere. Valdir Mattos charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdir Mattos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26thth minute of the game Sipke Oosting who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SinháCity FC's Gustavo Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sipke Oosting's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Fokke Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Vale in the 29th minute of play. Sipke Oosting took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Barral. Gustavo Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Meindert de Gooijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Barral having to interfere. Gustavo Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sipke Oosting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sipke Oosting in the 44th minute of play forced SinháCity FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sipke Oosting scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Barral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After a defensive mix-up in SinháCity FC's zone, Roelof Pietersma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Barral came out of the goal and Roelof Pietersma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roelof Pietersma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sipke Oosting came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Winthont FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sipke Oosting couldn't finish the play. Sipke Oosting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Barral having to interfere. Carlo Vonk might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Barral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlo Vonk ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustavo Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sipke Oosting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Barral came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Winthont FC's Roelof Pietersma. But to his dismay, Roelof Pietersma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 76 minutes SinháCity FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacob Adams who took care of the corner kick. Roelof Pietersma made a great header on Winthont FC's corner, it was just that SinháCity FC's Gustavo Barral managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 78th minute Sipke Oosting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Gustavo Barral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 81 minutes into the match, SinháCity FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sipke Oosting. In the 83rd minute Meindert de Gooijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fábio de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Sipke Oosting could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gustavo Barral made a huge save. After a rather tough play, SinháCity FC's Adelino Vale got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute of the match Jacob Adams sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Barral skillfully saved the ball. The SinháCity FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Winthont FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
