The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gil dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Fritz Lindqvist made a huge save. In the 15th match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Matos to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Lindqvist having to interfere. Calle Knutsson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Sundborn IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF:s goal. Gil dos Santos took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fritz Lindqvist. Fritz Lindqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Morgan Flinck was the one to do the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fritz Lindqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Falcão Marques in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fritz Lindqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes, João Vítor Alves made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sundborn IF's Fritz Lindqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sundborn IF's Joachim Wenerdahl was substituted for Stefan Hellström. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rondinone F.C - FDFDF.
