The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Emanuel Ardeleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Caio Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horea Hurmuzache was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Paranaense in the 23rd minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Horea Hurmuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes, Glauco Paranaense made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Glauco Paranaense sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. Emanuel Ardeleanu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Miranda in the 33rd minute of play. Natanael Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glauco Paranaense got free with Horea Hurmuzache in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Glauco Paranaense was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Glauco Paranaense in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Horea Hurmuzache, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The wind increased when Glauco Paranaense made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Ramos in the 51st minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Horea Hurmuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Eliézer Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. DINAMO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliézer Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cléber de Souza hit a great ball. With 59 minutes on the clock, Cléber de Souza commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 58 minutes into the game, one of CE LAJEADENSE RS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Lauro Linhares, was totally fooled by DINAMO's Șerban Damian, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 64th minute Șerban Damian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Glauco Paranaense made a precise shot to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. After 71 minutes, Glauco Paranaense made it 7-2 with a short kick to the right side. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Horea Hurmuzache came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by CE LAJEADENSE RS's Luís de Lara. But to his dismay, Luís de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. Horea Hurmuzache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Paranaense in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, DINAMO's Șerban Damian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lauro Linhares. Lauro Linhares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-3. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
