In the 9th minute, David Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Barral was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gustavo Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almir Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Barral having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Robinho Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mamutes EC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Felippe Zanette hit a great ball. Gustavo Barral made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when David Lima sent off a good shot on target. David Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Gustavo Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Damião in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Damião in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Mamutes EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SinháCity FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Vale in the 33rd minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Marcinho Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Adelino Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamutes EC's Marcinho Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 played minutes Almir Damião could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-0 into the left cross. 38 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Vale came free, but Marcinho Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Almir Damião in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Barral saved SinháCity FC from getting behind. Gustavo Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Damião in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Mamutes EC got a corner. SinháCity FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dé Lira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when SinháCity FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. SinháCity FC's Gustavo Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Damião in the 82nd minute of play. The Mamutes EC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Mamutes EC's Almir Damião looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 92 played minutes SinháCity FC got a freekick which was hit by Márcio de Sousa. Gustavo Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute, Bola Forte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Barral was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mamutes EC fully deserved thier win.
