Pedrão Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, Atlético de Crisal's goalkeeper Pedrão Souto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glauco Paranaense. 28 minutes into the match, Atlético de Crisal's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Gonçalves came free, but Pedrão Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético de Crisal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oséas Miranda was slow to take the kick. During this time CE LAJEADENSE RS's players had a chance to rest. Cléber de Souza was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Glauco Paranaense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Pedrão Souto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
