Marcinho Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Chulapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Damião came free, but Bebeto Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Divina Comédia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Varela to maneuver through the defense. Divina Comédia FC's Bebeto Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Damião in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Divina Comédia FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Frederico Varela hit a great ball. Divina Comédia FC's Bebeto Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Divina Comédia FC from getting a goal against them. Almir Damião's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Almir Damião helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when Mamutes EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Almir Damião made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, David Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bebeto Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 55th minute, Giovanni Porto made a precise shot to the right of Bebeto Campidelis. Divina Comédia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 58th minute, David Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mamutes EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 68 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Lima came free, but Bebeto Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho Oliveira took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Campidelis. Bebeto Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Mamutes EC made a substitution. Bola Forte replaced David Lima. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Veiga in the 75th minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Marcinho Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Almir Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bebeto Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 82nd minute Luiz Fabiano Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Damião in the 87th minute of play. Frederico Varela hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bola Forte in the 91st minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mamutes EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
