Falcão Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Telmo Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Falcão Marques made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Falcão Marques was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gil dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 5-0 became the score in the 57th minute when Falcão Marques elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gil dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Luís Eduardo Arce was substituted for Gil dos Santos. 70 minutes into the match, Falcão Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Trigo. A.A. Francana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Falcão Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. A.A. The audience was convinced that Falcão Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Trigo was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 85th minute Falcão Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Falcão Marques in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Trigo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Arce in the 91st minute of play. Falcão Marques took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Trigo. Telmo Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.A. Francana players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rondinone F.C - FDFDF.
