After a rather tough play, Mamutes EC's Alexsandro da Silveira got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Damião came free, but Fokke Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Winthont FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Lima was slow to take the kick. During this time Mamutes EC's players had a chance to rest. In the 13th minute of the match Mamutes EC got a corner. Winthont FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Lima ran over to the corner to take the kick. Floris Talsma hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, one of Mamutes EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mamutes EC. Eelco Neijsen walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sipke Oosting didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sipke Oosting hit a great ball. In the 43rd match minute, Winthont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Floris Talsma to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Eelco Neijsen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mamutes EC's Marcinho Fonseca. Marcinho Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eelco Neijsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fokke Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Porto in the 57th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Damião came free, but Fokke Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eelco Neijsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almir Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokke Bergman having to interfere. Robinho Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Giovanni Porto fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mamutes EC's protests and gave Giovanni Porto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Giovanni Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winthont FC's Fokke Bergman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Winthont FC from getting a goal against them. Sipke Oosting kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Damião in the 92nd minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Fokke Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
