Marcinho Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Arce in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Araújo in the 22nd minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Marcinho Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcinho Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Araújo in the 22nd minute of the match. Oséias Dionísio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dé Lira in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Ramón Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Almir Damião to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Giovanni Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamutes EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovanni Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Mamutes EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto de Lima to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Frank Mesquita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcinho Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute David Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Mesquita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Marcinho Fonseca made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franklin Araújo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcinho Fonseca saved Mamutes EC from getting behind. Mamutes EC made a substitution. Bola Forte replaced David Lima. Marcinho Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Franklin Araújo sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Bola Forte made a precise shot to the right of Oséias Dionísio. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 86th minute of the match Mamutes EC got a corner. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dé Lira ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Felippe Zanette managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Augusto de Lima during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Marcinho Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mamutes EC.
