Telmo Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Häll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sundborn IF's Fritz Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho Vergílio in the 22nd minute of play. Pontus Ahlroht's late challenge caught a A.A. Francana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pontus Ahlroht helped the player get up and apologised. Sundborn IF's Fritz Lindqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Sundborn IF from getting a goal against them. Morgan Flinck charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morgan Flinck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Flinck. A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Flinck in the 32nd minute of play. When José Vítor Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A. Francana's protests and gave José Vítor Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Carvalho. After having played for 39 minutes, Morgan Flinck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundborn IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morgan Flinck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dag Häll to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dag Häll in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Trigo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. The Sundborn IF fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Sundborn IF's Dag Häll looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Telmo Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morgan Flinck in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armandinho Vergílio during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Armandinho Vergílio hit a great ball. Dag Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Trigo having to interfere. Sundborn IF's Fritz Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Leite in the 63rd minute of play. Fritz Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Adolfo Leite in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Sundborn IF's Joachim Wenerdahl was substituted for Stefan Hellström. When Dag Häll came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sundborn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dag Häll couldn't finish the play. If Dag Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Evandro Mangueira got a free kick in the 90th minute. A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save A.A. Francana from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sundborn IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
