Örjan Forssell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Edmond Verdun made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Cortez Morera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ado came free, but Petru Nisporeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petru Nisporeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Edmond Verdun threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Örjan Forssell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Petru Nisporeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Rameriz in the 22nd minute of play. Petru Nisporeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Gines in the 23rd minute of play. Petru Nisporeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidro Gines went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Forssell in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute Örjan Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's corner Oriche Ruelas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. Edmond Verdun made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Örjan Forssell sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Miguel Savion hit a great ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Liu Yan Yan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liu Yan Yan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Örjan Forssell to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valko De Hond during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Valko De Hond hit a great ball. Blai Bacardi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Forssell in the 63rd minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Deportivo Peñarol FIFV got a corner. Errecaborda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liu Yan Yan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Liu Yan Yan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmond Verdun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A long shot from Pastor Ado in the 67th minute of play was well struck, but Petru Nisporeanu made a really good save at the right post. César Menot hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Errecaborda AFC's Hipolito Neron was substituted for Miguel Savion. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Petru Nisporeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gines in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ado came free, but Petru Nisporeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Deportivo Peñarol FIFV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Errecaborda AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Errecaborda AFC.
