Stoimen Dipchikov's late challenge caught a LaZuli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stoimen Dipchikov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, ЦСКА was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stoimen Dipchikov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joan Queralt in the 94th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gerushin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belcho Hlebarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jorge Infante made a huge save. After some careless play in the ЦСКА defense, Zachariasz Dunajski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anzhelo Gerushin.
