The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Lucero didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 25th minute. Paso FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Frederik Hötzl kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paolo Montero in the 38th minute. The corner led Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Cortez Morera to fire away a dangerous shot which Mira Pene despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cortez Morera got in the 44th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mira Pene handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Ubelteso came free, but Petru Nisporeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Ubelteso took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petru Nisporeanu. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mira Pene prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Burni in the 62nd minute of play forced Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Petru Nisporeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mira Pene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Forssell in the 64th minute of play. In the 71st minute Cortez Morera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mira Pene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
