The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Erbașu in the 4th minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Daniel Kieca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Erbașu came free, but Daniel Kieca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Kieca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Erbașu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Kieca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vali Erbașu in the 10th minute. Russówek's Daniel Kieca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Russówek from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute of the match, Matteo Suloaga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniel Kieca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matteo Suloaga got free with Daniel Kieca in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matty Cash received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Kieca came out and tried to block the shot, but Matty Cash slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 40th minute. Daniel Kieca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vali Erbașu in the 46th minute. Nando Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zbigniew Zabrzeski made the kick off in the second half. Russówek's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Suloaga in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Matty Cash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Kieca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vali Erbașu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Kieca having to make a save. Daniel Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benet Amorebieta in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Zbigniew Zabrzeski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Russówek's Jakub Gdowski was substituted for Zbigniew Zabrzeski. Russówek's Gregorio Montez was substituted for Ryszard Skonieczny. Russówek's Gustaw Tomporowski was substituted for Salvador Quezada. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Zbigniew Zabrzeski got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute Matty Cash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Kieca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Russówek defense, Benet Amorebieta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Kieca. The Russówek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Kieca should have stopped the shot. Daniel Kieca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benet Amorebieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Kieca came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dark Drinkers Sanok's Vali Erbașu. But to his dismay, Vali Erbașu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Daniel Kieca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matty Cash, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Daniel Kieca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matteo Suloaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Dark Drinkers Sanok booed when Russówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kennet Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball.
